It’s hard to believe that we will be celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday this week! Time is really flying by! The children have been working so hard! I am so proud of all they have accomplished in just a few short months. I am so thankful to have the opportunity to work with your amazing children each and every day! Room 118 is truly a special place to learn, work, and grow. I hope you enjoy a Happy Thanksgiving! Thank you so much for all that you do!

We had so much fun celebrating Backwards Day on Friday! :)

Literacy 
Due to the short week, I will not be starting a new story with the children. Rather, we will take this week to review many of the important literacy concepts we have been learning about in the second unit of stories.

Math
In math this week we will continue to learn about mental addition strategies!

Relaxing with a little Yoga during one of our "Brain Breaks"!

Social Studies 
This week in Social Studies we will be discussing the very important holiday of Thanksgiving and will be reflecting on the many things we have to be thankful for!

Shopping at our first Room 118 classroom store of the year! Keep earning those pennies!

Star Student

Congratulations to Sarah who was our Star Student last week! We loved learning more about Sarah from her All About Me poster and from the pictures that she brought in from home! Keep up the amazing work Sarah! :)
