Valentine’s Day! ❤
Room 118 will be celebrating Valentine's Day on Friday! If students choose to hand out Valentines please make sure they have one for each classmate. We don’t want any broken hearts! Also, it is school policy that food/candy is not exchanged at any time, so unfortunately any Valentine’s candy brought to school will not be able to be given out. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or if you need another copy of the Valentine's Day letter and class list that I sent home last week! Happy Valentine’s Day! 💕
On Tuesday we Skyped with the author of the Yasmin books, Saadia Faruqi! Ask your child about this awesome experience and what they learned about writing from Ms. Faruqi! ✍

Working on our reading goals by meeting in book clubs during Reader's Workshop! 📚
This week in science we continued to learn about the properties of matter by answering the question, "Can you really fry an egg on the sidewalk?" Ask your child about the experiment we participated in to see what they learned!
