It was another busy and fun week in Room 118! We continued to read and write Nonfiction in Reader's and Writers Workshop, learned how to add and subtract on an open number line in math and started a new Social Studies unit on the continents and oceans! I look forward to what this next busy week has in store!
In math we continue to grow our knowledge about place value to get us ready to add and subtract two-digit numbers! Ask your child when a mathematician must regroup to see what they are learning!
Working together in Writer's Workshop! ✏
In Social Studies this week we started to talk about the many places that we live! Ask your child where they live to see what they learned in Social Studies this week! π
