What a wonderful week it was in Room 114! We discussed kindness during our SEL lesson with Mrs. Tilton, started a writing project about how to catch a snowman in Writer's Workshop and had a very special visit from JiJi the ST Math penguin! I look forward to making our final week of 2022 together amazingly fun and memorable!
We continue to use number racks to solve addition and subtraction equations and story problems in math! 
On Wednesday we had a very special visit from JiJi the ST Math mascot!
During our visit with Mrs. Tilton this past week we read the book, "Enemy Pie" and then made a friendship pie of our own!

Congratulations to Ruby who was our Star Student last week! We loved learning more about Ruby from her All About Me poster and from the pictures that she brought from home! Keep up the awesome work Ruby! You are such an important and valued member of our Room 114 family! ❤

This week in Writer's Workshop we will finish our writing project on how to catch a snowman!
Math 🖩
This week in math we will continue to practice creating and writing addition and subtraction facts to create fact families. We will also learn effective, efficient strategies to solve addition and subtraction equations.
