What an amazingly exciting and busy week we had in Room 114! From celebrating Valentine's Day and President's Day to participating in Kindness Week, we packed each day full of learning, important lessons and of course lots of fun! 😊
Each day of Kindness Week we watched videos recorded by Boyden staff members! Staff shared important messages about kindness to ourselves, our peers, our school, our community and our world! Ask your child who was featured in the daily videos and the important lessons they shared!

During our visit with Mrs. Tilton on Wednesday we talked about what it means to be a kind friend! Ask your child to see their "friendly dinosaur" paper to see their thinking about how they can be kind to others!
This week we talked about having a growth mindset through our daily read alouds!

On Wednesday we invited Mrs. Ivatts' 4th grade class to Room 114 to complete a special project together in honor of Kindness Week!

On Thursday we made thank you cards for people in our community! Ask your child who they made a card for and what they wrote to see how they showed kindness to our community!
We were SO excited to share our published writing pieces with Mrs. Buchanio's kindergarten class on Friday!
We had so much fun exploring geometry concepts during Math Workshop last week!
