In science this week we wrapped up our unit on the sun! Our final experiment challenged us to answer the question, "How can the sun help you if you're lost?" Through the activity we participated in we were able to learn about the sun's daily patterns! Way to go scientists!🌞
We were VERY excited to change our table spots this week! 👍
During our visit with Mrs. Audet this week we talked about how we can apologize. Ask your child what they talked about with Mrs. Audet to learn more about this very important lesson!
On Friday, a few Room 114 friends got to go to Mrs. Buchanio's kindergarten class to help out with ST Math! I am VERY excited to continue this practice! #room114rolemodels!
We continue to practice our social skills in Morning Meeting! The children have been doing an amazing job of making eye contact, using a friendly voice, and asking questions to the person that they are talking to! Way to go Room 114 Rockstars! ⭐
In FUNdations we have started a new unit which focuses on reading and spelling longer words. The children are doing outstanding!

In Writer's Workshop this week we will continue to write opinion pieces!

In math we will continue to explore Unit 6 in our math program, which focuses on solving addition and subtraction story problems.
Science
The moon and stars are the topics of our next science unit! Through our experiment this week we will answer the question, "When can you see the full moon?" On Monday we will learn all about the solar eclipse!
