It was a busy week in Room 118 with the 100th Day on Wednesday and a half day on Friday! I look forward to another wonderful week ahead!
During Morning Meeting on Monday we learned how to say hello in 15 different languages!
In science on Monday we finished our science experiment called, "Paper Mountains." Ask your child where they would end up if they floated down a river to see what they learned through this experiment!
On Tuesday our Digital Learning Coach Mrs. Carroll taught us about a new typing website that we can use to learn and practice our typing skills! 💻

On Thursday we got to try the typing site that Mrs. Carroll taught us about!
On Friday we participated in a science experiment to help us answer the question, "Why is there sand at the beach?" Ask your child this question to see what they learned from this science exploration!

We will continue to meet the challenges of longer books this week by organizing ourselves into goal clubs.
Writer's Workshop 🖊
In Writer's Workshop this week we will continue to learn about poetry and apply the strategies that we are learning to our own poems!
Math 🖩
In math this week we will continue to explore measurement by solving measurement word problems and comparing length. We will also learn about line plots.
Science/Social Studies 🌎
This week in science we will participate in an experiment that will help us to answer the question, "Where do flash floods happen?"
