FUNdations ✏
This week in FUNdations we will review the sounds of au and aw.
Reader's Workshop 📚
In Reader's Workshop this week we will be learning about how authors paint pictures with words and use precise words when writing. We will also discuss how authors use literary language to make the ordinary extraordinary.
Writer's Workshop 🖊
In Writer's Workshop this week we will continue to write letters about our favorite books. We will talk about how writers make their letters about books even better by retelling important parts and by keeping their audience in mind. We will also use a checklist to set goals for ourselves as writers.
Math 🖩
In math this week we will continue to order and count money and will solve money word problems.
Science/Social Studies 🌎
This week in science we will answer the question, "Could a plant survive without light?"
