It was another busy and fun week in Room 114! Thank you so much for taking a peek! π
We have been having so much fun participating in the Endangered Animal Madness project that Mrs. Ivatts' 4th grade class is hosting! Last week we used our Chromebooks to do research on some of the animals included in the project! Ask your child about what animal they researched to learn more!
Last week in Writer's Workshop we used all that we have learned about writing reviews to write a book review! The children did an amazing job of applying all of the writing techniques we have explored in this unit! Ask your child about what book they are reviewing to learn more!
Some of the books we picked to review!
In math last week we started practicing making fact families for numbers up to 20! The children did an outstanding job! Way to go mathematicians!
We continue to work SO hard in Reader's Workshop to build our reading stamina and to apply all of the skills that we are learning through our mini lessons and our FUNdations lessons! Keep up the amazing job readers!
