Room 114 continued to learn, grow and have fun last week! We explored addition and subtraction strategies in math, had our very first Writer's Workshop celebration and reached new heights of reading stamina in Reader's Workshop! While our week coming up is short, there is no doubt that we will make every minute count! 👍

On Thursday, students were awarded with Amazing Author awards for publishing their first piece of writing in first grade! Way to go writers! ✏

During our SEL lesson with Mrs. Audet on Thursday we talked about feeling anxious and nervous. We learned all about strategies that we can use when we are feeling this way!
